Mattress Firm Social Media Ads
I've had to opportunity to be a freelance motion graphics artist for Mattress Firm, working on a variety of social media ad campaigns. I worked directly with their social media coordinators and storyboard artists to bring their existing ideas and art to life. It was a delight, and it gave me lots of professional experience working in a large pipeline and implementing various animation methods to achieve the look we wanted.
DataDreamers YouTube
I worked with DataDreamers in a variety of ways, from rebranding their YouTube channel, editing instructional videos, and animating a new intro and outro to their videos as seen here. The idea was to create a simple and quick way to bookend all their videos moving forward, to give all the videos a better unified branding. The outro also served as a place to put information and links to other videos and playlists, which DataDreamers hadn't been utilizing on YouTube before.
Mars March Mini Music Video
This video was a motion graphics project for one of my college courses, where we had to fully design and animate something based off of, and in beat with, a song. I was inspired by a friend's recently released song, "Mars March", to create this video from scratch in a short amount of time. I gained an incredible understanding of Adobe After Effects and animation, as well as graphic design, from creating the captivating visuals in this video.
Walnut Ridge Mini Music Video
This video was a personal project I embarked on to help promote a song a friend of mine had just released. It was an experiment in animation rotoscoping to create a very specific hectic visual style. It's something I'm still very proud of, which taught me a lot about editing consistently and effectively, as well as coming up with a shot variety in a digital production.
